Our chapter of Three Rivers Association of Professionals in Infection Control (TRAPIC) in Pittsburgh would like to invite your membership (and any others interested) to attend our October 3rd Fall Conference. Our conference theme of “Building Bridges” reflects our need to collaborate in sharing infection prevention information and strategies as our patients transition between acute, long term and outpatient care. This year we have added a break out session to offer an option specific to long term care facilities. Deborah Burdsall, MSN, RN-BC, CIC, a contributing author to the Infection Preventionist’s Guide to Long-Term Care will be presenting on outbreak management in LTC facilities. See hyperlink below for further event details.
